With the end of Teen Choice Award ceremony of 2017, movie celebrity Gal Gadot takes the win for her movie Wonder Woman and the famous TV series Riverdale swept through most of the awards! While Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were nominated for the category of action and villain but did not seem to win any of these awards.
Deepika was nominated for her debut in the category action for the movie XXX: Return of Xander Cage. Although she failed to compete the title to Gal Gadot, who won for her performance in the hit film Wonder Woman.
Priyanka was also nominated for her Hollywood debut film called Baywatch for the category of Villain with other competitors as well. The stars were namely Charlize Theron, Elizabeth Banks, James McAvoy, Javier Bardem and Luke Evans. As a result, Luke Evans won the title and was awarded the best villain.
This award ceremony is chosen according to fan votes and this function was held last Saturday in Los Angeles, United States. This particular award ceremony recognizes teen icons in different categories including television, music, sports, fashion, comedy and also the web.
Most of these awards were won by TV titles – Wonder Woman, Beauty and the Beast and Riverdale. While Riverdale, Pretty Little Liars and the teen wolf swept through many categories, on the other hand Wonder Woman and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 stole the show!
