On 16th April, 1889 was born the world’s most famous comedian, Charlie Chaplin. Today is 126th birth anniversary of this famous personality.
One can still recall the small man with small moustache, bowler hat and saggy pants with walking stick in hand. His silent and funny act brought smile to millions of people. But do you the real inside of Charlie Chaplin.

Charlie Chaplin had known the struggle of life even before he reached his teens.
He started his career by doing stage drama. Eventually, he made his debut in ‘The Eight Lancashire Lads’ and his outstanding tap dance won reputation among the people.
Some of his masterpiece features are ‘A Woman of Paris’ (1923), ‘The Gold Rush’ (1925), ‘The Circus’ (1928), ‘City Lights’ (1931) and ‘The Great Dictator’ (1940).
Chaplin was fond of young ladies. He had married four times in his lifetime.
Chaplin was not an American citizen and he was exiled from America.
His popularity was such that his dead body was not even spared. The corpse was stolen by a small group of mechanics to blackmail for ransom. Later it was recovered and buried 6 feet below with concrete floor so as to prevent such attempts.
