Every 2nd Thursday of October is observed as World Sight Day by the UN, which fell on 8th of October this year.Lenskart to celebrate this occasion went for an out-of-the-box campaign #AankhenCheckKaralo and made us look at various ways in which we Indians do not see the important things around us which we always tend to ignore.
1. Cant the authorities put up a board and some volunteers to check these problems? Indians don’t seem to read or rather, CANNOT read!
2. Dustbin? Cleanliness? Not Our Job! Throw where You can and when you can. And yes- Keep Complaining about cleanliness- That’s our job.
3. Everyone feels bad for these kids- But do any of us try help changing their conditions? Sdly No. We ignore them.
4. Havent teachers taught you – NOT to splash people with dirty waters on roads?
5. Honking? – Yes! You hate it as well, but still you keep doing it! Isnt that rude?
6. Traffic rules? Zebra Crossing? Traffic Lights? What are they? Ugh! Ain’tnobody got time for that’! I wonder what do these people do by saving those 1 minute of their lives?
7. We never seem to see the word ‘Not’
8. Wearing Helmets? I am accident prone. My head is hard. Unless we throw away this ego no body can save us
9. Who cares for the “Don’t Spit Here’, I gotta spit, I WILL spit. – Sheer arrogance and Idiocy.
